On Dec. 3, my "soon to be" 8 year old son and I were playing Kiriki: a KDE implementation of Yatzhee. For each additional Yatzhee, er sorry, Kiriki, one gets a 50 point bonus. He got 5 Kirikis and scored 428 points. Can you believe that?

Now, this boy has been showing the luck lately. A while back he won a 9.25 pound Nestle Crunch bar in a raffle. Yes, you read that correctly. It's dimensions were 17.8"x10"x2". A few weeks ago he won $18 in another raffle. This past Friday morning, I get a call from him at school. I say "what's wrong". He says "guess what I just won in the school raffle: Cleveland Cavaliers tickets".
